MaLinda was born in Macon, Georgia, in 1965. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in 1987. A second-career lawyer, she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2004. MaLinda is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. An avid equestrian, MaLinda trains and rides dressage horses. She is an active member of the Association of Emory Alumni and the Houston Dressage Society. |

MALINDA E. WATSON is a trial lawyer whose practice includes a broad base of general civil and commercial litigation. She has obtained successful results in the areas of oil and gas litigation, contract disputes, products and premises liability, construction law, and equine law. She has experience defending complex multi-party commercial litigation claims, but also enjoys handling cases for individual clients.
