Alfred C. Koenig1959–2004 Alfred was born in Houston in 1959 and graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 1983. After working in the oil and gas industry, he attended South Texas College of Law, graduating in 1989. Alfred first came to work for the firm as a summer clerk while enrolled at South Texas and became an associate of the firm in 1989. Alfred became a shareholder in 1998 after a decade of exemplary trial work, primarily in the fields of medical malpractice and nursing home negligence. A lifelong fan of the University of Texas as well as an avid outdoorsman, Alfred passed away unexpectedly on February 29, 2004. Survived by his wife Julie and numerous other family members, Alfred will forever be missed by his families and friends, both personally and professionally. In May 2007, the firm's conference center was dedicated in Alfred's memory as the Alfred C. Koenig Conference Center. |
